THE BENEFIT OF CORNFLOWER PETALS
The blue color of cornflower petals is due to anthocyans, pigments with extraordinary antioxidant properties that are found in great quantities in all blue and purple flowers, fruits and vegetables: wild berries, grapes, eggplants. Anthocyans prevent tumors and cellular aging, acting as a "scavenger", which means they remove toxic radicals.
